At the end of last month, at the Computex 2017 Consumer Electronics Show, Intel and AMD officially unveiled their most powerful Intel Core-X and Ryzen Threadripper processors, respectively. At the same time, not a single ready-made solution based on new chipsets was announced. The pioneer decided to become the company Dell. It showed an updated version of the flagship game desktop Alienware Area 51, which will be released both in the version with Intel processors, and with solutions from AMD.

The new Alienware Area 51 is available on request with optional accessories. Intel fans can choose a six-core Core i7 7800X, an eight-core Core i7 7820X or a ten-core Core i9 7900X. As a graphics subsystem, there can be one NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti in a minimal configuration or two NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti in a SLI bundle in the top configuration. If you prefer solutions from AMD, Dell offers in the maximum version three video card Radeon RX 580, united in AMD Crossfire.

It is known that models with Ryzen Threadripper processors will go on sale on July 27, and versions with Intel will have to wait until August 22. The cost of the computer has not yet been announced.
